However we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you may provide to us.  Information you transmit to us is entirely at your own risk although we undertake to take reasonable steps to preserve such information in a secure manner.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

    • Product Care

      Please remember our products are handcrafted, not mass produced by machinery; their longevity will benefit from being cared for in the most delicate manner possible.

      Washing

      Our linen is 100% cotton and should be warm gentle machine washed at a maximum of 40 degrees. Whites should be washed separately from coloured fabrics. Do not bleach. Bleaching and harsh detergents could damage the embroidery. Wash duvet covers inside out.

      Drying

      Line drying in fresh air is recommended. Fold when removing from the line to minimise creasing. Our products can be tumble dried at a low heat setting.

      Ironing

      Use a warm iron, or the cotton setting on your iron. Best results are obtained by ironing linen while still slightly damp with a steam iron. If the fabric is too dry, spray with a little water before ironing. Iron on the reverse side of embroidery or inside out to protect the embroidery.

      Drycleaning

      Indian Summer Linen products are dry cleanable.

      Storage

      Linen should be thoroughly dry before storage as it can be prone to mildew if stored damp. Ensure your linen is kept in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.

    • How long will my order take to reach me?
      Your order will be dispatched following your payment being processed, usually within 48 hours of your order being received. Orders are shipped via courier.
    • Can I order product no matter where I live?

      Yes. Indian Summer Linen is an on-line business and is happy to ship items to you regardless of where you might be. Please “contact us” so that we can advise of your shipping options and costs.

    • Can I get a design with a different thread colour?

      Yes. You may change the thread colour to any of the embroidery thread colours you see on any products on the website. The product will need to be made especially for you, so your order will take approximately 6-8 weeks to arrive. Please “contact us” so that we can arrange the design in the colour that you require.

    • Can I order a specific design?

      Yes. We can offer a bespoke design service. Bespoke designs have to be quoted on a per item basis which will be reflective of the complexity of your design requirements. Your bespoke designed items will take approximately 6-8 weeks to arrive. Please see our bespoke page for further details and please “contact us” so that we can arrange your bespoke designed items

    • Can I order linen for a bed size that is not specified?
      Yes. Please see the above question pertaining to bespoke designs.
    • How is the product made?

      Our 100% cotton is 100% handcrafted by women from two Bengali villages. Some items can take up to six to eight weeks for them to complete.

    • Is the fabric 100% cotton?

      Yes, the cotton is 100% natural cotton.  Tested and certified by New Zealand Wool Testing Authority Ltd (NZWTA)

      All Indian Summer Linen Ltd linen is 100% cotton (tested by NZWTA).  The thread count of the linen is:

    • Am I a rural delivery?

      If you are not sure if you live in a rural delivery area please contact us and we will advise.  Please note that we will check prior to sending so if you have paid the wrong shipping charge you will be requested to pay the correct amount prior to shipping.

    • Do you deliver to private bags and post office boxes?

      No sorry, our courier company does not delivery to private bags or post office boxes.  Please supply a street address.

    • In these terms and conditions, “we” “us” and “our” refers to Indian Summer Linen Limited.  Your access to and use of all information on this website including purchase of our product/s is provided subject to the following terms and conditions. 

      We reserve the right to amend this Notice at any time and your use of the website following any amendments will represent your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions as amended.  We therefore recommend that each time you access our website you read these terms and conditions.

      Product Descriptions

      1. We strive to ensure that our products are described as accurately as possible on our website, however we do not warrant that the description is accurate.  Where we become aware of any misdescription, we reserve the right to correct any error or omission. 
      2. Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only and we do not guarantee that any image will reproduce in true colour nor that any given image will reflect or portray the full design or options relating to that product.

       

      Product Orders

      1. Our products are for sale to adults over the age of eighteen (18) years.  By proceeding to purchase through our website, you acknowledge that you are over 18 years of age.
      2. We endeavour to ensure that our product list is current however we give no undertaking as to the availability of any product advertised on our website.
      3. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST.  Our price list can be accessed from our home page and we reserve the right to amend our prices at any time. 
      4. Packaging and postage is an additional charge, calculated at time of purchase.
      5. When you order from us, we require you to provide your name, address for delivery, your email address, telephone contact and credit card details.  We undertake to take due care with that information; however in providing us with such information you accept that we are not liable for its misuse due to error in transmission or virus or malware.
      6. We undertake to accept or reject your order within four (4) days.  If we have not responded to you within four (4) days, your offer is deemed to have been rejected.  We are not required to give reasons for rejecting your offer to purchase, however the most likely reason for rejecting your offer will be that we do not currently have that product in stock.
      7. Once you have submitted an order, you may not cancel that order even if our acceptance or rejection of your offer is still pending.
      8. Delivery of your ordered product/s will be as set out on our website.  Title in the goods passes to you when we have received payment.  Our terms of payment are set out on the order page. 
      9. All risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you as soon as we have despatched the goods.

       

      Our Bespoke Linen Service

      1. Our Bespoke Linen Service is provided to adults over the age of eighteen (18) years.  By proceeding to purchase through our website, you acknowledge that you are over 18 years of age.
      2. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST.  We will provide a quotation for bespoke goods in the course of communicating with you regarding your requirements. We undertake to fulfil your order at the quoted price if your order is confirmed within seven (7) days of the quotation being sent to you. 

       

      Order Cancellation Due To Error

      1. Where a product has been listed at the incorrect price or with incorrect descriptive information or image due to typographical error or similar oversight, we reserve the right to cancel a transaction.  Where your credit card has been charged, we will immediately refund your credit card for the total amount debited.

       

      Product Returns

      We undertake to replace any product delivered to you that is faulty or is in a damaged condition.  If you wish to return a faulty or damaged product, you must notify us through our “contact us” webpage to arrange their return. The goods will not be deemed faulty if they have not been cared for in compliance with the care instructions on our website, the care instructions on the product, and/or the care instructions packaged with the product when they were despatched.

      1. We undertake to exchange any undamaged product purchased from us so long as it is returned unused and with proof of purchase within fourteen (14) days of purchase. However, we will not provide any refund of such purchase.  If undamaged goods are returned to us for exchange, we do not refund any packing and postage charges. Return of undamaged goods for exchange is entirely at your cost and risk.
      2. If we are unable at the time of return to replace or exchange returned goods within fourteen (14) days, we undertake to reimburse your credit card for the amount initially debited for the purchase including packaging and postage charges.

      Indian Summer Linen uses national and international couriers to ensure that you receive your ordered products as soon as possible. Your order will be sent following the processing of your credit card payment, and will usually be dispatched within two working days.

      You will be advised of the dispatch of your ordered items via e-mail and provided with a courier tracking number, so that you can see your order making its way to you via the internet.
